Aroma of India (Wendouree)

I tried this place out of curiosity. I was not disappointed! I had the vegetable Hakka noodles, mild. Super delicious and with a balanced flavour. I paired the noodles with the lamb samosa, very delicious! The curried lamb mince on the inside was mild with a small amount of spice - very enjoyable! The restaurant is quiet but atmospheric. Service was quick and pleasant. I would definitely like to try other dishes!

Great service, and good quantity for each dish. Had the tandoori chicken (half) it was alright, I've had better - felt like the chicken wasn't very fresh but tandoori flavor was perfect. Tried the chicken Tikka masala curry, hakka noodles and Garlic naan, they were really good.

Our server was exceptional, he asked questions to how we would like the spice and recommended the best choice of meat for our dish. He came back to make sure we were happy with the food. We had a very good experience and would definitely eat here again.

My partner and I have always enjoyed coming here for a nice meal. I enjoy the Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan whereas my partner enjoys the butter chicken and rice. Coming to the resturaunt today we once again ordered our regular meals, however when my partner started to eat his he went red as it was too spicy for him. We both ordered mild as we usually do. We highlighted this to the staff and they couldn’t have handled it better. They apologised and remade his meal in a matter of minutes. He then proceeded to finish his entire meal. We ordered dessert but after our mains we were even too full to have it. We couldn’t be thankful enough for the staffs kindness and the way they handled the situation. Definitely would recommend eating here.
